Every job is unique and we work with you to provide the best possible rate and service for each job. We provide clients with ongoing or large volume work at highly competitive rates. Except for courtroom hearings and depositions, all rates are based on double-spaced 8-1/2 x 11-inch pages, with one-inch margins all around, using 12pt Courier New font. Court hearings and depositions are based on double-spaced 8-1/2 x 11-inch pages, 1.88 inch margins, left and right, and 1.5 inches, top and bottom. The font for court hearings and depositions is 10pt Courier New. Of course, we'll change your transcript format to suit your needs.

Dubbing from your CDs, DATs, or VHS tapes is always free. We handle your source media with care, but be sure to use padded envelopes or bubble-wrap to make sure your tapes arrive intact.

Turnaround time:

Our regular turnaround time is within 2 to 5 days from the time we receive your media - often earlier. This time frame generally depends on the volume of work you request, whether we need to dub a transcription tape from your media, and where your project is in our work rotation.

For a "rush" request, we will begin immediately on the job and deliver your transcripts as soon as possible.

We never "hold" your work. If you request it in 7 days and we can turn it around for you in 2, you will receive it then. We approach projects with the idea in mind that you always "need it now."

Volume Discounts:

We offer generous discounts on large projects, or ongoing work, such as transcribing novels, or producing transcripts of post-air radio or television programming.

Bonus Free Service for Post-Air Projects:

For post-air projects, such as radio or television programs, we include links within the text of your transcript that pertain to the subject matter. For example, if books are referenced, that book will have a direct link within the text which, if the reader chooses, leads to a description of the book on the internet. With this courtesy service, we also include: geographic locations, headline news articles, and key individuals referenced in the transcript. Adding to the content value, this is a great bonus for your readers when you email your transcript to them.

Surcharges:

In cases where the original recording has a high frequency of inaudible or unintelligible content, extra charges will be incurred. But we never add a surcharge without talking with you. First we'll transcribe about five minutes of material to assess exactly how much extra time we will need to provide you with an accurate transcript.

Transcribing material that is garbled or difficult to hear results in an inaccurate transcript delivered behind schedule. You can save money and we will provide a more accurate transcript if you insure that your speakers are professionally mic'd and recorded. Thank you!
